With tools and support, addiction is inevitable.

Do you know that the rate at which influence, power, and backing can affect an addicted person can't be measured?

Do you know that most addicted people want to be free, but the environment is not helping them?

Do you know that life is another tool that gives more energy to an addicted person?

My experience with addicted people gives me more understanding that an addicted person craves more for it especially when they see what backs them up or pushes them.

Let me tell you about Florence.

I and Florence were friends during my secondary school days. We were together in school, read together, and did a lot of productive things together.

When we got to Senior Secondary School 1, I realized she started taking alcohol which kept me wondering where she got that from. Each time she wanted to stop it, her fellow drug addicts encouraged her with many things such as showing her the latest video of her favorite music artiste displaying a drink. So, she hungers for it more and more.

The day she took a drink and had an accident changed her life. Her leg was amputated and couldn't walk again. This changed her life from bad to good, but the harm has been done.

3 days later, she decided that she would never drink again and took some physical measures, including Spiritual help, and she overcame.

I saw her 4 years after we've been disconnected from each other. She was at the university studying medicine.

So, to my addicted reader, you can be free.

Addiction such as drugs, sex, etc. is enough to make the life of a man miserable, and the best way to avoid that is by ensuring anything that can influence them is not available.

It is estimated that approximately 20 million people in the United States have a substance use disorder (SUD). This includes both illegal drugs and prescription medications.

It is estimated that behavioral addictions affect between 1% and 6% of the general population. Approximately 50% of individuals with addiction also have a co-occurring mental health disorder.

Genetic factors can play a role in addiction, with studies suggesting that genetic factors account for between 40% and 60% of an individual's risk of developing an addiction.

62% of teenagers in grade 12 have abused alcohol.  In addition, between 2016 and 2020, 61% of grade 8 teenagers misused drugs and it led to addiction.

Lastly, Approximately 50% of individuals with addiction also have a co-occurring mental health disorder.

Every addicted person is a product of influence, support, and backups.

There is no continuity without support or tools involved. BEWARE OF THE TOOLS OF THE ADDICTION.
