Stigmatization is deadly and destructive as a disease

Stigmatization means ignoring someone due to certain factions of knowledge of people about such a person. Every man is a victim of stigmatization daily, so you're meant to understand that not many but few will survive when it comes to stigmatization.

It's been recorded that 65% of women and 25% of men have experienced street harassment and over 60, 000 children are victims of sexual abuse each year. Many people have been stigmatized based on the fact that they've been sexually harassed or their past as a person.

Ranging from time to time sexually abused people, are one of most the commonest ways of being stigmatized through relationships and environment. It's very much seen that before you're abused, you will realize that it's not a picture you paint for yourself that influences this, the environment has done a lot for you.

As a young man or lady, you may be a girl or boy. You must realize that every day you're stigmatized but you don't get over it with a phase of time and that is why you're broken and affected.

So, as a stigmatized person, you are to know how to live your life in a way that you're going to outgrow, such a situation in life. Most stigmatized people have died and are unable to handle how  life treats them, so they end up depressed at the end affecting their virtues and life dependency.

You're to believe in yourself and know you're going to a place higher and bigger than the view of men about you. Various factors that influence the stigmatization of each individual vary but for different reasons.

How to handle stigmatization

Firstly, what people say about you is one of the factors that increase the spread of stigmatization. A young lady was born years back and she was raped by a course mate. The course mate made a public disgrace of the lady by posting the video online and people looked at her from a different perspective. This made that young lady quit her education and could not fulfill her destiny as regards education.

So, I understand you're depressed, but I'm here to encourage you that you can have your full respect and good name back as life is concerned. It's known that less than 6% of rape cases have been reported and prosecuted. It is an assurance that if you report to the right administrations, you'll be defended.

Secondly, you're allowed to visit a counselor and build yourself again. 22%of those who visit public care services were recorded for sexual abuse or assault. Once you are raped and stigmatized, you have every right results to a public care service for advice and health consultation.

There is no stigmatized person that cannot be saved,  but those who hold to it are either depression and results in death and either suicide. So,  it's important to understand that stigmatization is as deadly as a disease.
